Manitowoc Foodservice is the leading developer of Revit® families in the foodservice industry. As a company, we have made a commitment to helping consultants become more productive and provide access to our leading brands and unparallel technologies. Manitowoc Foodservice has developed over 3,000 models SKUs and plan on expanding our library each year until the majority of our products are available to the industry in native Revit families.

Revit, from Autodesk, is new design software that uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) to accurately develop, schedule and connect mechanical systems. The drawing is dynamic, meaning that changes are impacted throughout the model. So if you change a piece of equipment, it will modify all the views and mechanical properties and schedules within your project.

Since Revit is based off a 3D model it is easy to see the relationship with other building attributes and identify conflicts earlier in the development process. Revit is compatible with AutoCAD drawings can be imported and exported, allowing for non-Revit users to collaborate on projects.

Manitowoc Foodservice has adapted the FCSI design standards so integration into project drawings will be seamless. Plus, Manitowoc Foodservice will continue to support users of AutoCAD by developing content for both platforms.
